Sejarah Singkat

•    KBPR “ARTA KENCANA”  adalah lembaga keuangan yang berbadan hukum koperasi.
•    Dasar berdirinya KBPR “ARTA KENCANA” adalah pelaksanaan PAKTO 28 Oktober 1988, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan koperasi dan pendirian BPR sebagaimana ditetapkan dalam :
KEPRES No. 38 tahun 1988 tanggal 26 Oktober 1988 tentang BPR Keputusan Menteri Keuangan No. 1064/MKK.00.1988 tanggal 27 oktober 1988 tentang Pendirian dan Usaha Bank Perkreditan Rakyat.
Surat Edaran Direksi BI No. 21/5/BPPP tanggal 27 Oktober 1988 perihal Pendirian dan Usaha sera Perijinan Bank Perkreditan Rakyat.
Surat Menteri Keuangan No. S-1222/MK.00.1998 tertanggal 27 Oktober 1988 perihal Tempat dan Bidang Usaha serta Perijinan BPR.
•    KBPR ARTA KENCANA mulai beroperasi tanggal 15 Oktober 1991. Anggota KBPR “ARTA KENCANA” terdiri dari 11 KUD dan pada tahun 1998 anggotanya bertambah 1 yaitu Kopkar Bhakti Kencana sehingga anggotanya menjadi 12 badan hukum. Pada saat pertama beroperasi KBPR “ARTA KENCANA” berkedudukan di Jl. Panglima Sudirman No. 59 Kecamatan Wonoasri, Kabupaten Madiun dan sesuai perkembangannya maka pada tanggal 16 april 1999 menempati gedung baru di Jl. Panglima Sudirman No. 120 Wonoasri, Madiun.
